The young gun joined Scunthorpe in 1999 and stayed with the club up until last season. 50% of Grimsby fans seem to dislike Barwick, simply because he was a Scunthorpe cast off, and because he does look rather legless and clumsy when he plays. However that 50% have the comfort of knowing he is not a regular for Grimsby either. The lad still has a lot of time to prove his worth, but first impressions are an average Conference standard player, he is very determined but sometimes tries to hard. For example in ther Derby County game at times he tried to take on there left back and got himself into such a huddle he was on the touchline with three Derby players after the ball, and he still refused to pass. Given time hopefully Slade can improve Barwick , but at the moment he does not add anything to the side, and is a damn site worser than some of the poor peformers from last season.
Terry was loaned to York in his last full season at Grimsby and was finally released by Graham Rodger a few games into the 06/07 season and joined Conference side Northwich Victoria.
