The big striker is in fact called Abdou Tangara, a 29-year-old French-Malian with Swiss outfit SR Delemont.
It is not known if Tangara is available on a free transfer or if he would command a fee.
Starting out as a youth with Paris St-Germain, Tangara moved to Stade Lavallois after failing to make a single apperance for PSG. With Lavallois he found first team football, netting 12 times in 30 games.
In 2001 he moved to England and signed for Bury, where he hit the net 16 times in 22 games - although it is not known how many of these games were first team.
After a year in Lancashire, Greece beckoned and a year with Petrokimia Putra, where he hit an impressive 13 goals in 18 starts.
Last summer he moved to Belgium and Royal Francs Borains, there he hit 7 goals in just 5 starts. He was soon on the move to SR Delemont though, hitting 3 goals in 14 games.
Standing at 6'3 and weighing 13st 10lbs, Tangara fits the build for the target man Russell Slade seeks.
