Aiston: Does The Dirty On Grimsby!

Ex-Sunderland and Shrewsbury Town winger Sam Aiston has done the dirty on Grimsby Town after verbally agreeing to a 2 year deal with the club this week. Manager Russell Slade was expecting Aiston to turn up at Blundell Park today in order to sign his 2 year contract.

However in a change of mood, Aiston has "changed his mind" which will probably leave Slade a little cheesed off. " The player had verbally agreed and everyting looked set to be sorted by this afternoon, however the player had other things planned. I can only think he has been talking to Bristol Rovers, as they were intrested in him a few weeks ago" said one Town supporter very close to the club.

It looks as if though Aiston will run the gauntlet of hate and boo's when he returns with his unknown new club, to Blundell Park, after leaving a lot of Town fans annoyed.
