The Official website reported this morning that he was expected at Blundell Park at lunchtime to sign his contract and be introduced to the club. However in a late last minute decision Aiston changed his mind and has reportedly signed for Darlington.
Slade told www.gtfc.co.uk "We are very disappointed having agreeing terms verbally and shaken on the deal with the player. He's decided to do a u-turn and go to Darlington.
