Law is on the lookout for a ball playing midfielder after seeing the lack of creativity against Wrexham.
Reid could well fit the bill and is likely to welcome the chance to end his Bradford hell.
Reid was signed by Law for the Bantams in 2002 and got off to a good start with two goals against Wolves in just his second apperance. Since then things have gone sour and has failed to make a first team apperance in almost a year.
Current Bradford boss Bryan Robson views him surplus to requirements and is keen to rid him off the wagebill.
The 24-year-old had a trial with fellow second division club Colchester this season but failed to earn a contract.
