Town's first choice left back will join up with his international team mates straight after the QPR game on the 4th of October as the Welsh head into one of the biggest games of their history.
Their clash with the Eastern European's comes on the same day Town travel to Brighton (October 11th). Earlier this month Barnard missed the Peterborough game whilst on international duty.
The former Bristol City man was an unused sub in the Italy/Finland double header but is still a valuable member of Mark Hughes' squad.
The problem for Town will be finding a replacement. After Mike Edwards struggled at left back against the Posh, Jason Crowe may well get a start at left back.
Joining Barnard in the squad are former Mariners, Danny Coyne and John Oster.
