Notts County midfielder Paul Bolland enounced his pleasure at signing a 2 year deal with Grimsby. Speaking on Mariners World, Bolland admitted that he that the past few weeks were frustrating, he spoke to County's new boss Gudjon Thordarsson and he was told he was wanted at Meadow Lane next season and that he was to get a contract straight away, however after hearing nothing for a few days Bolland decided to go one better and sign up for Grimsby.
Bolland went on to say that he had other offers, but Grimsby is the place where he wants to play his football and that he is very happy to have joined The Mariners. Bolland is told to be a midfield dynamo with a never give up attitude.
Adding someone to the squad like this will be very good for Grimsby, with Tony Crane the only other "never give up" player on the park it will be good to see the reactions and styles of Bolland's game.
