Coyne moved to the Walkers Stadium in the summer on a free transfer despite having a year left on his contract.

Chairman Peter Furneaux made no secret of his wish to rid the club of Coyne's large wages and many feel the 'keeper was left with no choice but to leave.
So far the Welsh international has failed to take the goalkeeping jersey off Walker but an injury to the former Tottenham man gave him his chance yesterday.
Walker started the game despite suffering back spasms in the morning. But at 4-0 down manager Micky Adams decided to have a look at his summer recruit.
"Ian Walker reported a back spasm in the morning," Adams told the club website. "He fortunately started the game but when you are 4-0 down I couldn't see the point of keeping him on there.
"Danny Coyne has been itching to play and it gave me the chance to have a look at another goalkeeper for half an hour and make sure that we didn't make Ian's problem any worse."
Coyne got 24 minutes to impress and managed to keep the United attack at bay before Frank Sinclair offered a late consolation goal.
