Cas - You wasn't awesome and good riddance!

The former Notts County man was unhappy at the club, that's an unfortunate situation and anyone who's had a job they disklike will no doubt sympathise with that.

But that's not what my beef is with. It's his moaning and bitching about nothing really.

First of all his comments regarding Groves. Yeah ok, Marcel. We all know Groves is clueless and you're comments, if rather childish, are fair enough. But your timing is off, way off.

You're happy to slag off the club and the manager, despite them still paying your wages - a circumstance that has come about because YOU refuse to sign the release forms.

YOU asked for the termination of your contract. The club granted you this wish, they didn't have to. You repaid this act of goodwill by then refusing to sign the forms.

Personally I found the following quote rather confusing.

"But I'm not signing anything until I've heard whether I've got a job fixed up in Holland, becaue I have my mortgage to pay.

"I have to get fixed up with a job and I'm waiting for some people to get back to me. If they do, I'll go in tomorrow, sign the papers, and go home at the weekend."

Right, errrrr. So you asked for your contract to be terminated but not until you've found yourself a new job? Ok, that's fair enough and common practice. Afterall I wouldn't wish you to struggle financially. So why did you go on to slam the club and management? When they still employ you and will be paying your wages until you sign your release form.

Onto the comments claiming you was 'awesome'. When exactly was you awesome, Marcel? When?

Lets see. Chesterfield at home you was impressive. Other than that 10 minute spells here and there. Hardly awesome form is it? Maybe the reason you found yourself on the bench is because more often than not you looked very disinterested in the game and put in minimal effort.

You also moaned that you're not a rightback. No, you're not a rightback. And Groves playing players out of position is not uncommon, or clever for that matter.

But maybe you should be grateful that you had the oppurtunity to play professional football, regardless of it's in your favoured position or not. Not to mention getting a good wage for it. Surely you'd rather play out of position than not at all?

Thanks for your service Marcel, hurry up and sort yourself out so we can free your wages up.
