Confusion over Barnard and Campbell

Both players were expected to leave Blundell Park this summer, having previously said they had no desire to play in the third division.

This morning BBC Radio Humberside reported that neither would be offered new contracts as the club couldn't afford to meet their demands.

However the Grimsby Telegraph has Russell Slade saying the players have 'take it or leave it' offers on new contracts.

With the Telegraph the more recent report, we'll take that at this the situation. Therefore both Campbell and Barnard have offers on the table, but personally I think they are very unlikely to stay....in Barnard's case, good.
