30-year-old Cramb arrives at Blundell Park today and will feature for the reserves against York.
Cramb arrives from Shrewsbury where he is available on a free transfer, despite an impressive season last year. The former Crewe man hit 12 goals as the Shrews returned to the Football League at the first time of asking.
Cramb's ability has never been questioned. What has is his attitude. The Shrews are Cramb's 12 English club and he has also had a spell abroad in Holland.
Whilst at Crewe, Cramb found himself heading for the exit door after a fall out with manager Dario Gradi and a training ground fight with midfielder Lee Bell.
If Slade can keep Cramb's destructive side away, he could be a fine asset to the team. However do we really need another season of dressing room discontent?
