Daws arrived back on loan last month just hours after Alan Pouton departed for Gillingham.
With Stacy Coldicott returning to the first team and Craig Armstrong arriving on loan, doubts were cast over Daws' future at the club.
Graham Rodger clearly sees the former Bury man as a key part of the midfield and moved to extend the loan in time for tonight's game with Luton.
Once the month's extension ends, Rodger will either lose Daws or have to sign him on a permanent basis. Football League rules state that players over 24 can only spend 3 months on loan at one club in a season.
