Defender arriving next week

With Simon Ramsden joining Tony Crane, Glen Downey and Rob Jones on the injured list, Slade has decided to make a move into the loan market for a defender - believed to be a Premiership youngster.

Slade is hoping to have the player at Blundell Park by next Wednesday having already agreed a deal with the players club.

Meanwhile Australian centreback John Tambouras has arrived at Blundell Park on trial from New Zealand outfit Football Kingz.
