Manager Paul Groves admitted after the game that the exchange concerned him.
Groves said at the time: "I think it was a defensive matter, but there's a time and place for that sort of thing and I'm concerned it happened on the pitch."
Crane revealed to BBC Radio Humberside that he and Barnard recieved fines but insisted there was no problems and it was a case of 'two players wanting to win'.
