Paterson, already a Hero!
Three games ago 90% of Grimsby Town fans had never seen anything of Matrtin Paterson, a young 19 year old Stoke City reserve striker. Three games on and every one is going crazy about the young striking sensation.

Paterson has been at forefront of Town's last 3 games. Scoring against Accrington Stanley, and then the winner over Barnet, and then the two goals against Shrewsbury last weekend.

Paterson' s dedication and loyalty has been second to none, praising the fans and the players more than anyone.

Alan Buckley hopes he can sign an eager Mariner in Paterson until the end of
Permanent Move?
the season aswell as fellow Stoke loanee Anthony Pulis. It looks more realistic though that Buckley will land Peter Till on a permanent basis from Birmingham City, it all goes down to whether or not Steve Bruce will let the youngster leave St Andrews.

In last night's fans forum, Alan Buckley also mentioned that the reason that top scorer and bright spark Pete Bore has been dropped is because the player needs more nurturing, it is still unconfirmed whether or not Bore has been made availble for loan.

When asked about possilbe transfers, Buckley admitted he is intrested in bringing in Swindon Town midfielder Andy Monkhouse aswell as Blackpool's Stoke City loanee Andy Wilkinson.
