Fettis signs for Silkmen

Fettis spent the final months of last season on loan with Town after injury to both Aidan Davison and Andy Pettinger. Despite some sterling performances in between the sticks from the Northern Ireland international, Town were still relegated.

It had been hoped amongst many fans that Fettis would return to Town in the summer on a permanent basis, however those hopes seemed dashed earlier this week when Hull boss Peter Taylor said he was happy with Fettis and Boaz Myhill battling out for the number one jersey.

Fettis will play against Town for the first time on September 11th when Town travel to Moss Road.
