Groves calls to relieve Boulding pressue

Boulding's 10 goals this season have highlighted how dependant Town are on him. With the early season goals if Iain Anderson and Marcel Cas drying up, the pressure has increased on Boulding to deliver.

Groves admits that too much reliance is placed on Boulding's shoulders to score.

"We found it difficult to get going and get playing. Since Michael has come back he's averaged a goal in every other game and if he doesn't come up with the goods it puts the emphasis on everyone else," Groves told the Grimsy Telegraph.

"It shows how important he is and what he brings, and that's a big concern to us."

Groves also held praise for supersub Darren Mansaram who opened his account for the season to cancel out Rob Clare's opener.

"Darren made a difference, Groves added." He was lively, got a goal and we had a bit of a spell around that time that gave us a lift. But if we had come away with three points it would have been fortunate.

"Darren's had a stop-start season but, in this little cameo, he's shown that he's capable of doing it. But, with him being young, there's that unpredictability about him and you never know what you're going to get from him.

"There are still things in there that he can learn from and he will come off disappointed."
