Groves leaves Scunny

Groves joined the Iron until the end of the season after he agreed a release from his Town contract, following a successful loan spell with the Iron.

The Town legend had hoped to negotiate a new deal with the Iron but was released by the club and must now look for a new club.

Groves will have no trouble finding a club in the lower leagues with Lincoln emerging as favourites with Groves believed to be keen on staying in the local area.
