Groves is on loan with the Iron after his sacking as manager, a permanent move is more than likely.
Groves impressed in his debut against Yeovil at the weekend but marked his mark with two goals in the 3-1 win at York.
Groves opened the scoring with a trademark header after 17 minutes and sealed the win with a close range second half effort, after Steven MacLean's penalty.
York pulled one back late on through Andrew Bell whilst the Iron played 40 minutes with ten men after Jamie McCombe picked up two yellow cards the six minutes he was on the field.
Personally I feel it's a shame that Groves had to go elsewhere to reach such a feat, however I'm delighted that he has reached such an achievement and is proving that he can still cut it. Well done, Paul.
