Kabba arguably made his name during his loan spell with Town last season. Arriving as an unknown Crystal Palace reserve player, Kabba soon became the form striker of the division.
Despite permission from Palace and the pleas of the fans, Kabba wouldn't sign a season long loan deal. Instead he returned to Selhurst Park before a nominal fee took him to South Yorkshire.
His form with the Blades gained him even more acclaim as Neil warnock's men reached the semi finals of the League and FA Cup plus the play off final.
Kabba's reputation at Blundell Park was crushed by his goal celebration in front of the Pontoon after scoring in the 4-1 win late last season. The lack of respect for the fans who worshipped him was hard to swallow.
This season the pacy frontman has yet to kick a ball in frustration and is facing a wait until the New Year before returning with tendonitis in his knee.
Kabba spoke to the Grimsby Telegraph about Onuora, a man he feels will help the Mariners up the table.
"He's a good player and he was just unfortunate last year that he got injured and missed the whole season more or less," Kabba told the newspaper.
"Iffy needs some time to get his match fitness back and that's what he'll be trying to do.
"He's an old head and he's experienced and I'm sure that will help Grimsby get up the table."
