The Mariners came from behind to beat league leaders Yeovil Town at Blundell Park this afternoon.
Yeovil took the lead after 11 minutes when Aaron Davies fired home beating wobbly Welshman Anthony Williams. Town did not play to bad in the first period but were always going to be chasing Yeovil and there on form striker Phil Jevons.

for Grimsby hardly threatend Williams in goal. Just after the break striker Martin Gritton levelled the scores to the joy of the majority inside Blundell Park.
Town impressed in the second period and in the 87th minute striker Andy Parkinson who has barged his way back into the starting 11 after dropping out of contention in recent games, netted to give Town a 2-1 lead with minutes to go.
It is so long since I can remember Town coming from behind. Anyway can The Mariners carry on this form that has seen them string 2 wins together, and has Russell Slade finally got it right despite upsetting the majority of Town fans by releasing promising youngster Greg Young. COME ON TOWN!
