Taylor-Fletcher: Rumoured target joins Terriers!

Goalkeeper Alan Marriott signed a 3 year deal for Lincoln City today, putting speculation that he will join anyone else behind him. Marriott along with Kevin Pressman, Scott Shearer and Daryl Flahavan have been linked with a move to Grimsby as the new number 1, however rumours now suggest it is Oldham Athletic keeper Steve Mildenhall.

Also it was revealed that Lincoln full back Kevin Sandwith held talks with Town boss Russell Slade this week, but opted to sign a new deal with Lincoln. Sandwith was told to be an adequate replacement for the departed Ronnie Bull, however Sandwith joins Marriott in a bid to buck the trend to stay put at Lincoln with Imps stars Simon Yeo, Gary Taylor-Fletcher and Ben Futcher all quiting the club.

On the subject of Taylor-Fletcher, another player who was linked with Grimsby, has joined League One outfit Huddersfield Town, meanwhile Lincoln have signed Kidderminster's Gary Birch as a replacement.
