Former Queens Park Rangers and Milton Keynes Dons striker Richard Pacquette has joined the Mariners on a trial after rejecting an offer only a month ago.
Pacquette rejected a 1 week trial offer and opted to move to non-league Fisher Athletic on a permanent switch but at the last moment the striker moved to Stevenage Borough on a non-contract basis where he remains depsite now training with the Grimsby first team.
Kingsley Mbome who joined on trial the same day Pacquette was initially suposed to have started training, is still at the club, we think? The Cameroon U21 International left Cambridge United 2 months ago but has not yet been offered a contract by The Mariners.
There has neither been any word on Town signing Nottingham Forest winger Andy Impey. The transfer listed ex Premiership player has been linked in the papers and on the internet about a move to Grimsby, but neither player or club has commented on the matter. However Town boss Russell Slade
