Palace recall Kabba

Kabba made 14 appearances for the Mariners, scoring on six occasions and was scheduled to remain with the Mariners until November 23rd.

However, Kabba has been recalled by Palace boss Trevor Francis earlier than was expected because their striker Dougie Freedman sustained an injury in the 3-0 victory over Coventry in the Worthington Cup on Wednesday night.

A Palace spokesman said: "Dougie sustained a calf injury against Coventry so Steve has had to be recalled.

"He's done really well up there and I'm sure he'll go straight into the squad on Saturday."
