It was the strike of former Lincoln midfielder Terry Fleming who fired in from 35 yards out into a empty net on 15 minutes to give Town the lead, however yet again it was no suprise to see Grimsby squander the lead only 3 minutes later to Steve Guinan of Cheltenham.
Michael Reddy made work of some superb attacking work by himself and fellow strikers Martin Gritton and Andy Parkinson to notch Town into a 2-1 lead.
Sub Damian Spencer gave the opposition hope with 14 minutes+ stoppage time left however Reddy latched onto a Fleming pass to chip keeper Shane Higgs in the 85th minute to give The Mariners there 2nd away win in a row.
