With two consecutive clean sheets behind them, Rodger believes the team are capable of picking up three points at Bloomfield Road despite the Seasiders providing a different test.
Rodger looking for win
"They've got a different style to what we've come across so far in the second division, but we're certainly looking to go there on the back of a good home win and good away draw, and we're going there full of confidence and looking for a positive result," he told Mariners Net.
"We had them watched at the weekend and one or two games before hand. Notts County gave them a good game at the weekend. We need to go there and apply ourselves right, and we need to impose the way we play on them.
"They've got Mike Sheron up top - he'll be a threat. Everybody knows Mike, I think he's one of those players that if you switch off for a second he'll take a half chance. We need to be tuned into what he's doing, but all over the field they've got good footballers. It's more about what we are going to do and they need to be more worried about what we are going to do."
