Santos signs for Town

French star Santos has been training with the Mariners since making contact with player-manager Paul Groves after Towns game with Sheffield United 10 days ago.

Groves said: "George is a good addition to the squad.

He is a versatile player and gives us a bit more power in the team."

Santos will sign a one month deal and will wear the number 23 shirt for the Mariners.
