“He’s a player who likes to attack down the flank but he’s also dangerous when he cuts in on his left foot and curls the ball goalwards," Miglioranzi said.
“I saw him score goals like that on more than one occasion for Portsmouth and I’m surprised they let him go to be honest. He’s a very good player.
“Grimsby had a bad result in their last match and its important we don’t give them any reason to feel encouraged.
“I think we can go to their place feeling very positive.”
Crowe, however, may not even find himself in the starting eleven. John McDermott is ready for selection again after getting some training under his belt. Crowe may find himself in a more attacking role as manager Paul Groves looks to reshape his team.
