Former Mariners sweeper Paul Warhurst has been released by League One side Blackpool, Manager Colin Hendry, told injury hit veteran Warhurst that he is no longer in the plans of the club. Paul has been struck with injury problem since siging for Blackpool in september, and has started 3 times, making 2 sub apperances.

Released Mariners defender Kirk Wheeler has left Conference North club Barrow FC. Wheeler who was released at the end of January from Grimsby, signed a month to month deal with Barrow. He has now joined lowly Non League club Ossett Town, where he spent a month on loan earlier this season. Also former Mariner Chris Bolder is a player at Ossett.

Veteran striker Clint Marcelle who signed a month to month deal at the start of the season with Town, has joined Conference club Tamworth after being released 4 months ago by Grimsby. Marcelle made 1 start in the LDV Van Trophy and 1 sub apperance in the league.
