We need to bury teams

Town led 1-0 thanks to Iain Anderson's goal up until the 68th minute. The following 22 minutes saw Town collapse with barely a whimper.

"I think that we've only got ourselves to blame, " Groves told Mariners Net. "I feel that we have got to bury teams. We haven't done that today and we've paid for that.

"It was in our hands. I feel that we have given them the game, rather than they take it from us.

"I think we deserved to go in front. We was in their half in the first half. their keeper's made an excellent save to stop them going 2-0 down just before half-time.

"We've come away from this game and lost, and there is just no way that we should have.

"We have got to kill the game off. We have got to drive the game early on in the second half and we have got to take the game to them."

Groves also once again praised the fans for their support.

"The fans were tremendous and they've made a big difference for us this season but they go home gutted and they should go home celebrating a win," he added.
