It left the Mariners chief to question the commitment of his players in the aftermath of another damaging defeat, which sees the Lincolnshire outfit now seven points shy of safety.
Woods said: "I'm very, very disappointed, particularly in the second half. I felt we lacked passion, we lacked hunger and in general I was very disappointed with the display.
"We need to generate a bit more desire and hunger and, bar about three or four decent performances, we lacked some leaders out there.
"On the training pitch we train well, if not better than most teams in the league, but you have to have the courage to do on the pitch what you do on the training ground."
