Woods, whose side are five points adrift of safety and host rivals Lincoln on Saturday, said: "I think anyone who was there saw the passion of the players. We might be in the relegation zone but it's visible to everyone that we haven't given up - far from it.
"There's a lot of belief and the squad is getting better all the time. We've added another body in Jamie Devitt, and he was outstanding. The fans that came (to Notts) were fantastic and sang all the way through, even in the first half when we were struggling.
"There are two very big games coming up. We wanted to ensure the supporters come on Saturday in a positive frame of mind. Nobody needs motivating for Saturday - it will be a full house.
"We have to take positives form the situation. We are a point closer to Torquay and we move on to the next game."
