Town fielded trialist striker Vladimer Farrell, who was pretty shit in all honesty. Partnering him up front was Graham Hockless, who did ok despite playing out of position. A fair few neat touches here and there with a few neat through balls. His lack of physical presence did disadvantage him.
Stars of the show for Town were young Allan Lamb in midfield and Ronnie Bull at leftback. Young centreback Ben Howard once again put in another powerful display.
The first half produced nothing of note whilst it took the second half time to get going. Nick Heggarty opened the scoring for Town after Hockless' through ball. Soon after Ash Hildred took advantage of Phil Senior's poor clearance to play in Clint Marcelle, the week-to-week man finished with ease.
Town made it difficult for themselves though and gifted 'Udders a goal with five minutes to with some shocking defending. They did hang on though for a decent result against a Huddersfield team featuring a few first teamers.
